QuaShaun, or “Q” as she is affectionately known, is a devoted hoodoo practitioner and spiritual worker. Born in Washington, DC, her practice is rooted in the ancestral traditions of North Carolina and New Orleans—regions where spirit, land, and lineage remain deeply intertwined.

A mother of two and a longtime Charlotte resident of 14 years, QuaShaun also works professionally in the field of finance. This dual grounding allows her to bring structure, discernment, and spiritual awareness into both practical and sacred spaces. Guided by prayer, intuition, and deep reverence for the old ways, her practice honors hoodoo as a living path of protection, cleansing, healing, and spiritual empowerment. Every oil, herb blend, and ritual preparation within the apothecary is crafted with intention, care, and sacred purpose—an offering rooted in love and service.

Gray’s Apothecary was opened through spiritual guidance with the intention of supporting healing for men and women on a journey toward wholeness. In addition to spiritual workings, the apothecary serves as a place of stillness and restoration, offering yoga and meditation sessions facilitated by a dedicated instructor to nurture balance across body, mind, and spirit.
